Avamere Riverpark of Eugene is well known for our rehabilitation services. Our in-house therapists and supporting staff specialize in all three forms of therapy: physical, occupational and speech. Our team's collective goal is to get residents to a higher-level of functioning than before their illness or injury. We take this more aggressive goal seriously—and our residents and family members appreciate it.

For those needing just therapy without skilled nursing, we offer an outpatient therapy program. Patients can live at home or in assisted-living residence and still take advantage of our professional rehab gym and services.

I got into to the senior health care business right out of college while exploring a career in assisted-living. I started in activities, followed by working in a variety of positions from certified nursing assistant, bookkeeper to administrator. All the roles have been very rewarding because seniors offer a wealth of knowledge and value that my generation can't compare with.
